Hi,

The cutoff marks for admission in BDS for students belonging to general category is high and ranges between 500+ to 700 marks in NEET entrance exam for getting admission in government colleges. with your marks there seems low chance for you to get a seat in BDS in government colleges .

You can try contesting for a private medical dental college.

Hello Aspirant!
The cut-off for dental colleges through NEET UG varies every year but the trend shows that it is on the rising part. To get admission in Government Dental colleges a score of 525 above is required to be on the safer side. To get admission in private dental colleges a score of 400-450 around would do. The cut offs differ state-wise so refer to past year cut offs (AIR based) for better predictions.

Wishing you all the best with the process!

hello aspirant,

Looking at the previous year NEET cutoff for BDS colleges, the Cutoff for general category are much high, and therefore with 430 marks in NEET UG, you won't be getting BDS Government Colleges. In order  to get BDS government colleges, you have to score 520 to 700 marks In NEET Examination to get top Government Dental Colleges.

However, you can also try for private dental colleges because you have more chances of getting admission in those.

Further, if you wish to know more about the NEET cutoff for previous years, then you can prefer following the below mentioned link to know more : https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off

Further, you can also check the NEET college predictor tool to know more about your admission chances in other colleges : https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

I hope that this will help.
