To Become Software Engineer, you need to do B.tech Program in Computer Science & Engineering & for that you need to give JEE Mains after 12th.

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main is the national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency for admission to B.Tech/B.E. programmes in 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 CFTIs. JEE Main will be conducted twice a year in online mode in January and April months respectively.
