In order to join Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) in B.E or B.Tech, you do not need to give any entrance exam . You just have to pass 10+2 or vocational course with minimum average of 45 percent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. If you ade eligible, then you have to register on TNEA website and based on merit and rank list, you have to appear for TNEA online counselling conducted by Anna University. Then select MIT Chennai. After your seat is alloted, report to the college. Finally, submit required documents and pay fees.

For M.E or M.Tech, you need to appear in TANCET, conducted by Anna University or GATE exam. You can appear for exam only if you attain minimum 50 percent marks in Bachelor’s degree in relevant streams or pass 10+3 years diploma and Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE). Based on name in merit and rank list, you have to appear for TANCA counselling andselect MIT Chennai. Finally, submit required documents and pay fees.

For admission to Ph.D course, you have to give a written test after attaining minimum 55 per cent marks in master's degree. If you are qualified, you have to appear for interview. If you are selected, submit required documents and pay fees.
