Through JEE Main you can take admission in NITs/IIITs and GFTIs.
If you want to take admission in IITs you have to appear for JEE Advanced exam.
In order to appear for JEE Advanced you need to qualify JEE Main exam first.
You should have 75% marks in your board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile to be eliglible for IITs/NITs/IIITs anf GFTIs for general category and for SC/ST it is 65% marks.
