You cannot compare colleges in that way. Each college has it's pros and cons and therefore each is unique in it's own way.
SDMC has few advantages over Joka regarding the bond issues, proximity to Kolkata (SDMC is almost in Kolkata), etc. ESIC is central govt. funded, so many facilities are good but clinics is somewhat better in sdmc comparatively. At the end, you need to take it by yourself. Consider your advantage and proximity while selecting

Hi Parshanjit,

Both the medical colleges have its pros and cons.

First,  ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, JOKA, is a under central government which is a huge bonus.

also, the infrastructure is better than sagore dutta according to me.

as far as i have heard the quality of education is better.

Sagore dutta is also new, but it lags behind esic. you can check out both their websites online.

however, choose your college according to the distance from your home. because, MBBS is a career where you need to study more. All the colleges teach you more or less the same. its on you how you take it.

Hope this helped. all the best. choose wisely.

With ESI Joka you do have the prospect of a bond which you will have to serve after you complete your MBBS just check out the rules
Education wise among all the the colleges you mentioned are the same get ESI Joka will take a slightly higher side being a central government mediated college and not directly under the purview of the state
However Sagar Dutta medical college right now is also pretty decent and people are doing quite well even after qualifying from there so if you want to get rid of the fallacies of the bond imposed by the central government then you can choose sagore Dutta medical college above ESI Joka

Both colleges have benefits and loss..
Like Joka is an central govt controlled institution so your salary will be higher during internship and housestaff... But it has a 5 yr bond so you have to serve under them... There around 26 hospital around India under ESIC umbrella.. So u can be transferred to any of these institutions..
But sagor dutta is state run college so there is no bond and other stuff... And its developing very fast..
So,  I personally feel u must go for Sagore dutta.

Nandini Gupta I am a a student of this college.. bond is that you have to serve for 5 years after mbbs which is really very pathetic.. 5 years means a lott and then you will not be able to do pg also.. I will suggest you to choose any other district college.. also patients in district colleges will be huge as compared to esi joka. All the best.
