The placement opportunities in GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam are very good. Approximately 70% students get placed every year. Around 40 recruiting companies visit the college which include Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL and other companies. You can get an average salary of 4 LPA. Many  faculty members have high knowledge and good teaching skills. The courses offered are B.Tech with total fees of Rs 2.64 Lakhs, B.Tech {Lateral} with total fees of Rs 3.03 Lakhs and M.Tech with total fees of Rs 90000.

In Vignan's Institute of Information Technology, Visakhapatnam, the placement is very good. Around 50% students get placed. If you were to go by my opinion then vignan institute of technology will be a better option than gmr because of the following reasons:-

1- Placements - It is the most important factor in any college. The average package for this colleges was around 4.6L per annum which is better than gmr.

Companies like cognizant, wipro, Deloitte, Flipkart, Adobe, Amazon comes for recruitment.

2- Infrastructure - Both the colleges have good infrastructure with all the necessary amenities inside the campus.
