Dear student,

NIT-Jalandhar is a tier-3 Indian engineering colleges and most of the degree holders from such colleges have to work at Services based companies. The average salary is 3–4 LPA.

For NIT Durgapur the highest salary package offered was LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like HPCL and ONGC visited their campus for placements.

Hi Aspirant,

If you want a comparison between two colleges in terms of chemical Engineering then obviously NIT Durgapur is much better than NIT Jalandhar. The teaching faculties Of chemical departments are much better than the others and there is quite a good pressure over the four years.Students want to perform research work can perform after the course but job opportunities in India is much lower.

In terms of coding,we get in touch with various competitive coding after we get into college. Moreover there are various technical fest in these colleges where you will learn much about coding.

Regards.
