It depends upon which tangent you are asking. If you are considering about the job packages then CSE has an upper hand in Private market but when it comes to Government then you can give IES or GATE with ECE but you can only give GATE with CSE.

See, non CSE branch students also work for various MNC's but a CSE student can't work in BHEL, NTPC or Powergrid.
