There are many differences between the GU and GCET.

Students need to clear the upsee or the jee mains to get an admission into the GCET with a good score. GU has its own admission exam GEEE which is relatively easier to crack.

GU is a relatively newer campus than GCET. GU was setup in the year 2011 while GCET was setup in 1999.

GCET has a great campus with much more aesthetic value and GU being a new campus is still under construction.

GU is very remotely situated while GCET is better connected to markets and malls.

The examination papers of the GU are made and checked inside the University itself while GCET papers are made by the AKTU and checked by the external teachers. The result of this is that GCET generally don’t score as well as GU students but have more value in terms of the reputation.

The placements of both GU and GCET happen in the GCET because companies recognize GCET much more than GU. Stats have shown that GCET placements are better than the placements of GU students.

Fees of GU is 1.6 LPA which is more than GCET. On the contrary GCET has a fees of 1.20 LPA.

Hence,I would say GCET is a much better college of the two and you should apply there if you are fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Among better faculty and crowd you would get a better understanding of your goals and essentially yourself which is very essential to find out at such a young age.
