I would prefer BITS pilani instead of GITAM.

Because according to the student's experience who studied there , the conditions of GITAM are pathetic,

Plus there is alot of attendance issue so you wont be able to prepare for JEE again and also if you decide for doing CSE seriously and drop the idea of JEE main then you will not be satisfied with the faculty and the placements are disastrous too.

BITS pilani in no doubt is alot better than GITAM, although in both the places attendance demand is must. But BITS pilani provides you the better infrastructure and placements and cultural and social life. Though Mechanical placements are not too high in BITS but the training and faculty is top notch.

Out of the two, BITS Pilani- Hyderabad Campus, Hyderabad has been ranked higher. BITS Pilani have AAAA+ rating whereas GITAM has AAAA rating. The BITS gives admission through BITSAT whereas GITAM gives admission through JEE Main. The GITAM University has NAAC A+ accreditation. Finally, it's your choice whether to take GITAM or BITS.

BITS Hyderabad is one of the top engineering colleges in India. It cannot be compared with GITAM University. But it also depends on your choice of branch. So if you are getting CSE in GITAM and you are interested in CSE, then you should definitely go for it. You can work hard there. But if you want to go for BITS Hyderabad and you want to take mechanical engineering or civil engineering then you must go for BITS Hyderabad. So just think before you take a decision. Your future depends on it. Go for your choice.
