The question you have asked is incomplete. As there are different categories so we cannot sum up ranks in number as different categories have different last rank . And ranks depends upon many factors difficulty level of the paper , number of students appearing in the examination, also completion in state level . Likewise there are many factors and every year the number is different. I hope this was understandable and helpful.
