Hello,

To prepare well for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) exams you should have General Knowledge, you must be updated with Current Affairs and World Affairs. Not only this, start reading English Newspapers like The Hindu or Indian Express. These things are going to help you in all three phases of UPSC exams i.e. Prelims, Mains and PI (Personal Interview) round.

Apart from these topics, you should read History of India, Indian Economics, Geography (try to get more and more information of your home state). Stay updated that what's going on in the country.

Now, it's totally depends on you that what Subject you are more comfortable with. But if you are good in Hindi then you must choose Hindi Sahitya as your optional subject in your Prelims. Apart from all these things no other Degree would be helpful to you. UPSC Preliminary exam has been scheduled to be held on June 27th, 2021, Sunday. Mains exams have been Scheduled to be held from September 17th to September 22th, 2021.

Good Luck.
