B.Tech. Biotechnology programme is designed to meet the ever-changing scenario in the field of Biotechnology. JAIPUR NATIONAL UNIVERSITY' s major emphasis is on the practical knowledge, where students are trained in the field of Microbiology, Molecular and Recombinant DNA Technology, Bioprocess Engineering and Bioinformatics. Organization of seminars, workshops, industrial and institutional visits help the students to develop research temperament, orientation skills and to practically observe Biotechnological processes at Industrial level. Six months dissertation (Project Work) in last semester provides an opportunity for the students to work in emerging fields of Biotechnology and to get placed in core Biotech Industries. Apart from academics, participation in sports and extracurricular activities provides a holistic and enriching experience to students.

Eligibility: 12th (PCM or PCB) (Physics and Mathematics)

Dear Ketaki, the question paper for the Entrance Examination is divided into 2 parts and the time duration is 3 hours.

Part 1 will have MCQs from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematucs upto 10+2 level. There are 30 MCQs and each Question carried 1 mark and so Part 1 is for 30 marks.

Part 2 also has MCQs but the syllabus is at Bachelor's level which requires thinking and analysis. The questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. 100 questions will be given in this section and you are required to answer atleast 70. Eacj question carries 1 mark.
