Hello Aagam, College of engineering Pune is the best college in Maharashtra for doing engineering. COEP is one of the oldest institutes in India. COEP boasts fantastic numbers during placements. Any other institute comes below COEP if you compare.

I have heard somewhere that outside Maharashtra candidate who doesn't have domicile is not eligible to take admission in coep. Is it true?

No, it's totally false. There are no such criteria like that. COEP has two categories under which they admit candidates. All India(AI) Category and Maharashtra state category. Although if you are a Maharashtra state native then you could get the benefit of home state quota but there is no such rule that students from outside Maharashtra cant apply for COEP. Its wrong information. don't get misled by such wrong information.
