while filling application I have kept ews option..I Don't have certificate of ews ...during counseling can I take seat under General category

Hey,

The benefit of reservation under EWS quota can be availed only upon production of an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority.

However, as in your case, if the candidate fails to provide the required certificate, then he/she shall be treated as a general candidate in the counseling process and will be allotted the seats accordingly.

And what if the Candidate has opted for general category by mistake in the application form and have the EWS certificate at the time of counseling?

Will the candidate be able to use EWS certificate to get the seat under EWS reservation?
