Hello Candidate,

JOSAA Counseling is done for getting admission into IITs, NITs and other premier institutions such as IIITs and GFTIs.

Counseling Process-

The Counselling schedule for admissions in the colleges is held in 6 to 7 rounds, and after that the Candidate is called for Document Verification and then he/ she gets admission.

Seat Allocation Procedure-

If you have not got any seat in the first round, then he must wait till further rounds and can even apply for the Spot Round, if he doesn't get any seat in the General Counselling Rounds.
