Hi aspirant,

The conducting authorities had provided three options to a candidate when you or she is allotted a seat. If someone chooses freeze the seat will be locked and the candidate will be out from the counselling process, if candidate chooses float then he/she will be considered for allotment of a higher prefered choice in next round and choosing slide means the candidate would be considered for higher preferred branches in the same college only.

So if you have been allocated a new seat in next round, incase you have floated or slided the last one you get all three options again. You may not be able to see the earlier option as you may have been allocated a new seat, however you do not choose any option original choice will be automatically retained.

Hope it helps!!
