You have not mentioned any entrance exam about which you are talking here. Please mention the name of exam so that i can provide you the soecific answer.

Well, talking generally in most if the exams either different rough paper is provided or thefe is proper space provided in question paper only.

There's plenty of space to do rough work on, like, for example, there are spots in the question papers itself, covering almost 40% of the paper as a blank space. You can work out your mathematical problems over there. It's there on almost every page, so it is sufficient enough for you.
