will a student from ahsec board consider as passed if he fail in the optional/fourth subject but passes in other 5 subjects???

Yes, absolutely, even if you check at cbse/seba manifesto, it's best of 5, and as an example , I hated maths and guess what, I failed in securing passing marks in it, but it's my fourth sub, so  still I am pass and ya I did seba.


But if you can pass in all it's better,it helps in future.

But for now you are pass, congratulations .

If a candidate fails in his 4th subject in the pre final exam then will he be able to appear in the final?

Hi Eliza,

For the Assam Higher Secondary Secondary Education Council, a candidate needs to pass in all the subjects in order for him/her to be considered as passed. Even if the candidate fails in one subject, the student will not be considered as passed by the board.
