Yes Dr . B.C ROY Engineering College is better than Cooch Behar Government Engineering College.
Although placement is average in Dr . B.C Roy Engineering College but better than other colleges in Durgapur.Different MNC and local recruiting companies hold their meets here. Hiring a ample number of students gets placed.
More than 40% of the total students in a course get placed. Many companies like Accenza, TCS, Cognizant, and a lot more visit the campus for placements. Students are generally offered a salary package of Rs.10,000-30,000 per month which is quite well for freshers. Job roles like sales executive, BPO, marketing executive, etc., are offered to students. Also it has Infrastructure is big, well organised. Beautiful scenery huge playground, seminar hall, computer printed classes, different clubs, good academics, talented and  teachers helpful teachers.
If you talk about Cooch Behar Government Engineering College then no company has visited its campus for placements till now.
