Hello,

Here is a list of mandatory documents required for COMEDK application form

  • The documents should be in the following order: -
  • Photocopy of SSLC Marks card.
  • Printed Online Application Form.
  • Photocopies of All mark cards / Consolidated Marks Sheet including that of the failed year if any (First Year to Final Year university examination marks card/s).
  • Photocopy of Attempt Certificate (a statement indicating the number of attempts one has taken to clear a particular subject/year).
  • Photocopy of Internship Completion Certificate / Internship Completion Certificate.
  • Photocopy of Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate / Passing Certificate / Course Completion Certificate.
  • Photocopy of Registration Certificate / Provisional Registration Certificate or a receipt / an acknowledgment issued by the competent authority against applying for Registration Certificate.
  • Candidates belonging to SC / ST (All India) and OBC of Karnataka would be considered for lower eligibility, provided they furnish the duly attested Photocopy of the following Certificates.
  1. SC / ST : Caste Certificate issued by competent authority (Authorized to issue such a certificate but not below the rank of a Tahsildar).
  2. OBC: Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B: As notified by the Karnataka Govt. Caste and Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar or higher revenue jurisdictional authority authorized to issue such a certificate.
  3. Minority: Religious (Christian) of All India / Linguistic (Tulu/Telugu) of Karnataka minority candidates have to produce certificate as per Annexure – IV of Brochure (available on www.comedk.org).

So,

Since it is mandatory to upload the soft copies of the original certificates and without them registration would stand  incomplete. You may hope for extension of the deadlines for certificate upload.

But if you don't have the certificate at all then you won't be disqualified but will be allotted seat according to the general category rank.
