While we cannot predict how the exam might be, we can give you some insights. NEET has been postponed by almost 5 months. And this year 15 lakh Candidates registered for NEET and lets say even only 13 lakh Candidates appear for the exam. Out of them lets assume only 10 lakhs utilised these 5 months, and atleast 8 lakh Candidates qualify in NEET 2020. the ratio of Candidates vying for seats to the no.of seats available will still be 1:11. This is because except for Tamilnadu which announced 6 New Medical Colleges and AIIMS and JIIPMER merging with NEET, there have been no considerable additions to existing MBBS seats. This means the cut offs are going to be higher. And also Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. All in all, the competition is going to be tough and so the cut offs might fluctuate by 15-25 marks.

Hello Aspirant,

See as of now NEET 2020 is scheduled for September 13 and note that this postponement due to lock down will not effect the difficulty level of NEET exam because the NEET exam will be as similar to that of previous years and the syllabus will be same as of previous year paper so what you have to do is just stay focused on your preparations and you will surely hit the target whether paper will be tough or easy if you have prepared well.

It might show some slight variation in cut-offs because there are different factors upon which it depends.

I hope this information cleared your doubts.

Good Luck!!
