Applying for undergrad courses depends upon the college and your course of interest.if you are seeking professional courses (engineering, medical, law) then the common entrance exams determine the selection process.Few  colleges have their own private entrance exams and the marks you score in your 12th boards do not affect the selection processes there. The minimum percentage any good college expects is 60%.
