As income certificate provided by the municipality is whether considered valid. You can also apply income certificate online through e-district website.

See the Income certificate issued must be issued by Tehsildar. You can also take the document to the SDO/DM or any Gazetted Officer and get it attested in order to be at a safe side. Although, if your income certificate is issued by the Tehsildar then you have nothing to worry about and you can take admission in IIIT Ranchi or any other institute as well.

Hello, in order to produce an income certificate for any university, an application must be made to your respective municipality. You need write a request letter to Tahsildhar, for issuance of income certificate. Coming to validity, it is valid in any of the universities and colleges in India.
