Hello,
No, the rank range is not going to be determined by the number of sessions. The rank depends on the total number of candidates appeared, highest score in the session, normalised score, marks scored in each subject, tie breakers etc. It means that the rank corresponding to a particular score will change depending on the above mentioned factors. For example if a candidate has secured 10,000 rank by scoring 99 percentile while the total number of candidates appeared were 10,00,000 then the same candidate in next session secured a rank 5000 with same percentile score while the total number of candidates appeared was 5,00,000. So as you can see the rank changed with the total number of candidates appeared, similarly it may vary depending on the percentile score. No matter how many sessions the best score of all sessions will be be considered to determine the final rank of the candidate.
