With a NEET score of 188, your chances of getting admission to a B.Pharm program this year may vary depending on several factors, such as the specific college’s cutoff, state quotas, and the total number of applicants. B.Pharm programs typically have different admission criteria compared to MBBS or BDS courses, as they focus more on pharmacy-related studies.

In many states, B.Pharm admissions are conducted through separate entrance exams or merit lists based on 12th-grade marks. However, some colleges might consider NEET scores for admission to pharmacy courses, particularly private institutions or deemed universities.

To increase your chances of getting into a B.Pharm program, consider the following steps:

1. **Research Colleges**: Look for colleges that accept NEET scores for B.Pharm admissions and check their previous year’s cutoff scores. This will give you a clearer idea of your chances.

2. **Explore Management Quota Seats**: Some private colleges offer management quota seats, which may have a higher cutoff but could still be an option.

3. **Apply to Multiple Colleges**: Don’t limit yourself to just a few institutions. Apply to various colleges to maximize your chances of securing a seat.

Overall, while it may be challenging with a score of 188, exploring all available options can enhance your chances of admission to a B.Pharm program.

hope this helps you!!

Hello Debyani,

With a NEET score of 188, getting admission into a B.Pharm program is possible since B.Pharm admissions are generally not based solely on NEET scores. Many colleges offer B.Pharm admissions through state entrance exams or based on 12th-grade marks in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

You should:

  1. Check state-level pharmacy entrance exams : Some states have specific entrance exams for B.Pharm admissions.

  2. Apply to private or deemed universities : Many private colleges offer direct admission based on 12th-grade marks.

  3. Consider counseling processes : Some states include B.Pharm seats in their counseling, which may consider your NEET score.

Ensure you research the specific requirements of colleges you're interested in.
