Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) Guwahati is a technical state university that was established in 2011 by the Government of Assam under the Assam Science and Technology University Act 2009. The Assam Science and Technology University offers various courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. ASTU offer courses such as Diploma in Pharmacy, B.Sc, B.E / B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharma, B.Des, MBA, M.Arch, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D.
The ASTU Guwahati admission process is based on the merit of the candidates in the previous qualifying examinations. The Assam Science and Technology University has also collaborated with various national and international institutions and organisations for academic and research purposes. College Infrastructure
The University has all the facilities which are kept clean and well maintained, equipped with all the necessary infrastructure and tools. These also includes classrooms, labs , libraries, sports facilities and dormitories complete with wifi and smart boards, the living areas are tidy and the meals are prepared in a hygienic manner.

College Infrastructure
Campus is green , neat and clean , infrastructure is very good as compare to many colleges. Infrastructure is new and few departments is old . There is lots of bulding blocks for different different courses.

ASTU's laboratories are well-equipped with the latest technology, aiding practical learning and research. However, periodic upgrades and maintenance could further enhance their effectiveness. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, aiding research and connectivity, though consistency in connectivity should be ensured.
