Ph.D. program in Home Science shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned. This Ph.D. program offered by Berhampur University.


Eligibility Criteria

For Ph. D program in Home Science a Master’s Degree in Home Science with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade (for general candidates) and 50% of marks or equivalent grade (for the SC/ST and physically challenged candidates) are eligible for admission. College teachers and professionals with 15 years of experience can be allowed to register for Ph. D with at least 48% of marks at the Master’s level provided that they qualify the URET (University Research Eligibility Test).
