ApplyRanked #46 Among Universities in India by NIRF | 1950+ Students Placed 91% Placement, 590+ Recruiters
Hello aspirant
Being governed by the same management both CU and CGC share a similar intent and objective of achieving global recognition by providing quality teaching-learning environment. So yes …both of them have been working consistently to achieve this goal.
The difference is that affiliated to PTU was set up in 2002 and is the parent institute whereas CU is a private university that came into existence in 2009.
CGC has successfully carved a niche for itself over this period and has proved to be a foremost institute in the northern region being ranked as the Best Engineering College with Excellent Faculty in North India in Asia Education Summit & Awards 2017.
On a similar trend, CU, within a short span of time, has emerged as a distinguished institute committed to offering quality education and has been ranked among Asia’s Best & Fastest Growing Private Universities by WCRC.
This is all because of the fact that both the institutes share identical goals under the leadership of the same managing board. So they are equally concerned for the growth of both CGC and CU and are putting equal efforts for them.
Now the choice is yours where and how you want to pursue your career an affiliated college or from a private university.
Hey,
Chandigarh University is Asia's fastest growing University and it have achieved this accomplishment by placing it's students in top MNC's . Chandigarh University is also listed in Limca book of records as most number of Placements offered in a university which crossed over 5000.
This University comes under the to ranked universities in North India with best placements. Every year hundreds of companies pick thousands of students with a good package. Major recruiter of Chandigarh University are Google, Microsoft ,HPE, Amazon,Flipkart,Tech mahindra and many more. Being selected in the placement depends on one's ability. There are many companies and have a big crowd as well but it totally upto you and your ability to grab that placement.
Hope this helps.
dear candidate,
Dear Sharath Kumar, Both are good colleges. But if you want to go for finance specialisation then go for IFIM. For marketing, Christ University will be a better option. All the best. I hope this solves your query. for any other doubts regarding the same, put it in the comment section below.
Hello dear candidate.
Based on your query, I would like to inform you that, even though Hoshiyarpur district colleges lacks in facilities and amenities, the faculty and studies there are equally good.
For LLB, according to me P.U. center, Hoshiyarpur is a better option for you, over Private universities in Chandigarh.
As per your query, Christ university, Bangalore is one of the top colleges in India and it also offers very good placements. However, getting a placement totally depends on your performance in the interview. The salary package varies every year according to the market value. The last year average package was around 6.5 LPA and the highest package ranged between 13-15 LPA. So, considering overall view, Christ is a very good place to grow, in major you get technical knowledge there.
Hi Deepak,
Both the colleges offer quality in terms of standard of education. For other factors of comparison, you can compare them on the basis of student's response, student to teacher ratio, etc.
Hope it helps. All the best...

Dear student, there is no rule in India that only a candidate studied from government law colleges can practice in a court of law. You can definitely become a judge in any court in India after you have the required expertise, after pursuing LLB from a private college. The only requirement is that it must not be a distance education college, and must be recognised by Bar Council of India.
This Institute has good quality facilities and infrastructure fo the students of the MBA course. All modern facilities were provided by the college management to make students' learning interactive. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, etc., were available for the students. Sports and medical facilities were also available for the students.
Here you would not get a big campus like other university. You would not get outdoor sports ground. Sometimes Wi-Fi is not working, browsing speed is very less and there is no proper network in classrooms. College is good in terms of library they have bunch of books arranged in shelves.
Christ University has an awesome environment and modern facilities but language barriers are the main problem. Locals only understand Kannada. Many local students dominate college like rowdy things. The college has Wi-Fi in every section. We have 3 libraries on campus; all are best but capacity-wise, library 1 is the biggest.
