36 MonthsThe Department of Philosophy offers the Bachelors Programme and Masters Programme in Philosophy. Research programmes such as M.Phil and PhD in Philosophy are also offered by the Department of Philosophy under the auspices of the Centre for Research.
"Socrates was the first to call philosophy down from the heavens and to place it in cities and even to introduce it into homes and compel it to inquire about life and standards and good and ill" (Cicero). In an age of extreme competition, stress and early burnout, this training programme in philosophy help one to overcome existential crises, to assume responsibility for one’s life and re-examine the experiential, creative and attitudinal values in order to achieve a more meaningful and productive state and style of living.
Eligibility Criteria
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
