24 Months- Master of Science (M.Sc) in Zoology is a full-time two-year postgraduate course and it is offered by the Christ University, Bangalore.
- The fields of zoology and animal science are constantly evolving and emerging. The postgraduate program in Zoology offers a fundamental overview of scientific topics related to zoology, evolution, taxonomy, laboratory animal science, and animal facility management. Topics of study generally include basic science and animal biology as well as clinical, ethical, and statistical education on scientific experimentation. Students apply the theoretical knowledge gained during the program to the actual practice of laboratory animal science. This programme is designed to sustain students’ motivation and enthusiasm not only to appreciate different life forms but also to inspire them in the dissemination of the concept of biodiversity conservation.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate who has passed any Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks and 50% of marks in the cognate subject (Chemistry) from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply.
- Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far and 50% of marks in the cognate subject. Students writing their final degree examinations is also eligible to apply.
