Infrastructure varies from block to block, and hence depends highly on the course that a student is applying for. Living spaces outside the campus provide good accommodation. Food depends from place to place.
Highly competitive academics. One must be capable enough to manage time well to maintain a balance between academics, personal and professional life. The campus provides various recreational activities.
The University offers Internships and Job Placements by reputed companies from across India as well as all over the world. The procedures are long and test the candidate at various levels. Although the pandemic has affected the Internship placements.
The infrastructure of the university has everything one could expect. It has huge classrooms with modern equipments and facilities. The laboratory equipments are good and in proper working condition. There are two libraries in the Central Campus . Everyone has access to both the libraries. There are many sports centres in the campus. WiFi is provided for free in the campus. The university is well-maintained and kept clean. The food in the cafeteria is quite fresh and hygienic.
I am an undergraduate final year student with a Triple Major in Physics, Mathematics and Electronics. The quality of teaching is good and the faculty members are quite helpful. In all these 3 years, our professors have guided us really well. The curriculum is up-to-date and includes all the recent developments in the field. The course pack reaches all expectations of an educational as well as a professional environment.
The placement rate of the university is great. In our batch whoever applied for the placements, successfully secured one. The university understands the expectations of the students and is very supportive.
The academic ambience of the university is great. There are a lot of clubs and activities in which one can enroll. There are a number of fests which are conducted every semester.
The college is a single building with every specialized course. The college does not have a ground or a gym that can be used by the students but has one that can be used by the students staying in the hostel. Hostel is also a big drawback as it only has accommodations for boys. There is wifi on board that can be used by all the students for academic purposes. There are 4 restaurants/ Cafes in the building which are very hygienic and the food is also very good.
I am studying BBA Honors as it would help me get a better idea of the corporate world and how things take place right from the bottom of the chain to the top. The teachers are great and have great experience in their subjects. Sometimes they don't know stuff which is fine but they get back to us with the answer in the very next class. The curriculum is quite focused on management as it is a management course but covers all aspects in the field throughout the 3 year duration of the course.
I still don't know how well the placements are in the college but records have shown a great response in the placements field. Almost all the students are placed in some or the other company in the college.
I think the brand name and the quality of teaching is altogether worth the cost of each year. But I would have been better if the infrastructure would be better like the main Bangalore campus. Per year it costs 2.3 lakhs which is divided in 2 parts I.e. each semester.
The campus is altogether fun experience. Most of the time is spent in our classes. And when the college ends we friends meet up outside the college to hangout. There are multiple clubs that a student can join. The students, teachers are quite friendly but the supports staff can be rough at times as they also have a strict schedule to follow. The location of the campus is a little outside the main city but not too far. Some places around the campus can be a little dangerous but this is india.
The college is a great one. Hence, it is in the top three colleges in india. The college truly makes the students experience how the culture is in the corporate world. The college has a strict dress code and everyone in the college respects each other.
The college has good lab facilities and the quality of the food is also well taken care of. It's a green campus with enough basic amenities. There are two big grounds and the faculties support students in boh academic and non academic activities.
As every engineering college in India CUFE to has a very average and outdated learning system. But the learning environment is such that we get to develop and improve a lot of soft skills in the process.
Was extremely poor when I studied. But last year the placement officer changed and there has been a huge surge in placement numbers. The students of 2020 batch have reported that they have received offers from top companies.
When compared to other institutions of the same standards in the state of Karnataka the here is significantly lower which makes this a good value for money course.
The is in the outskirts of Bangalore college and you might initially find it difficult to get used to. But trust me the campus life and student bonding is too good that you'll never want to leave this place. Metro construction is coming along well. So transportation won't be an issue anymore.
Though the college is just average on the academic side things are getting better. This is a place which gives you ample opportunities to work on your basic life skills.
They have spacious psychology labs but some of the experiments are outdated which is more reflective of the curriculum than the equipment. The library is well equipped with materials and books on all relative topics. The hostels are hygienic and well maintained however they have strict curfew based on gender and usually after 6 p.m., no one is allowed outside even if for groceries, essentials, medicines; this is slightly inconvenient since most classes and extra-curricular programs end late.
I did Psychology in my program while I studied there and several times I and my classmates were teaching the professors who were so ill-informed about the chapter they taught. The teachers are often shuffled across subjects so sometimes you might get a teacher who has not specialized in the field teaching you about it. Further improvements are needed to be job ready and have recent developments inculcated into the program.
This might be more due to the nature of psychology as a subject area which branches further into academia, research and higher studies before becoming profitable. Placements for humanities usually came from the internships done during the course of studies and highest would be for journalism. Unaware about specific salary packages.
It cost 30 thousand per year which is more affordable than other colleges and the most value experience was the third year when the teachers were well trained in the honours program.
Best features are that there are many clubs and organizations that one can be a part of; worst is that the admin is bureaucratic and can complicate student's issues ranging from attendance to dress code to lack of stringent measures on indecent behavior exhibited by staff from admin to all the way into the top. The lack of safety is alarming considering that this is one of those colleges that has made us go to campus during public strikes.
The overall aesthetic exterior of this college can be appealing, however it is not in concordance to the deep seated problems within this college. They have good networks for different programs and their constant extracurricular list of events make it appealing but it can take a toll on psychological safety because when you really need the support, it fails to come through.
Yes, our college have necessary infrastructure and all the facilities. The campus, college, hostel..everything is very clean and hygienic. In classrooms we have facilities like wifi and in lab we have all kinds of equipments and everything is always very neat and clean. It is such beautiful campus that you may fall in love with it.
I am pursuing MBA from Christ University and quality is amazing. Their studies are worth investing in, Christ has a good brand name in corporate world as well. Curriculum is updated as it includes all the latest trends like HR analytics, Payroll softwares, R language and various corporate interfaces to give us good view about corporates and their requirements.
The quality has been nice over the time. Though Christ University believes in quality teaching and not only placements, but that doesn't mean they don't have good placement records. Companies obviously come and offer good packages to students. Prior to that we have rigorous placement training which is completely funded by college. Average salary that is offered is 5-6 LPA
Yes, it is great in the sense of RoI. MBA cost 4 lakh per year and the facilities that I am getting from university completely justify the money. Other colleges don't have that good RoI but Christ, having good brand name and offering almost all facilities charge Rs 8 lakh for entire course, which you can repay within 1-2 year after your job.
It is the best. You can never miss going to campus of Christ University. As Kengeri is in outskirts of Bangalore, campus is having all natural beauty. Butterflies, trees, greenery and sky...its just mesmerizing. It is completely safe and can handle emergencies. Staff over there is really supportive. We live like a small family. That is Home away from home.
College especially campus is really beautiful and I am speechless to express it's beauty. The love and encouragement that I have got so far is commendable. They always think about students and are not focused only on academics but extra curricular things as well (obviously not at the cost of studies).
College is beautiful and incorporates everything a student and teacher requires. Well built classes, canteens, auditoriums, etc. Very comfortable to study and stay in the campus. I would really recommend this college to others.
Very well educated teachers. They are mostly understanding, use different interesting techniques to teach the students. The environment created by the college is really good and the practical knowledge it provides is like the cherry on cake.
Placements are good wrt ROI. As the college is really value for money. So, with respect to the money they charge, the placements are really good. Good big companies come up, just that we need to sail through them with our hard work.
Absolutely value for money. Every penny invested is worth it. I will really recommend this college to prospective students. It is a place where you learn so much, make amazing bunch of friends as well as do a lot of curricular activities.
Amazing learning environment. The curricular activities, the academics, the teachers, all are amazing. Worth all the efforts and investments.
Nothing else.
Christ is best in its infrastructure and ambience. We have all the latest technologies in the classroom and auditoriums. We have 3 basketball grounds. Huge 4 floors of library and has every variety of books you demand for. Hostels are the best and hygienic place for the students who are from outstation. The food in the unlimited number of canteens are tasty and healthy.
I have studied MBA from christuniversity Bangalore as it has topped in India Today as the best B school 2018. They way of teaching is the best one can do. You get to learn amazing things. The curriculum is divided and particularly mentioned about the ongoing of the course.
The quality of placement is good but due to covid 19 situation it's stagnant and there is no hope for it. Most of the students are not placed and many have not received offer letters. So this is where it's lagging.
It's a best place to study if you look towards ROI. The curriculum is very well design like any bschool should have and placements are also good.
Amazing campus. You wouldn't regret if you have been in Christ campus. You would experience best ambience, garden, birds etc.
The College has a great and well-built infrastructure for many reasons. The College has a well-built library with over Lakhs of books and memberships in online portals and also in other journals and ebooks worth 2 to 3 Crore INR. The College also has a well-built computer lab and a free wifi option which offers students access to various ebooks and academic sites. This has helped me a lot as I didn't have an internet connection and I am a book lover which made me read a huge number of books.
The academic part of the college is okay. I had a bad experience due to less freedom that the students are given in their study time and also less emphasis on research. The College also pressures the student a lot with less freedom for a fest or any other event which requires a lot of permission. Some of the professors are good at teaching and are professional but some are not eligible to teach and are not friendly with students. That is the reason why I gave such a review.
The college has a huge placement cell. I have been one of the person who got the advantage of such a wide range of placements from companies such as Accenture, Reuters, Byjus and others which are best in different fields. The placement cell is very helpful and offers a great opportunity to address issues with the placements and also there is a leeway provided to the students. This makes the Placement cell one of the places were the students have more freedom
The college offers good value for money. My course cost me 80,000 INR for the first year as an NRI and 44,000INR and 34,000 INR in second and third years respectively. This is great value for the course and the facilities that the College offers which makes the College value for money.
The campus life is the college is pretty okay. The College doesn't give the students the right to grow and give suggestions which can bring improvement to the college. The College also doesn't offer a better opportunity to research and also to connect with people which is one of the important parts in a student's life.
I feel the College is best for Professional and Business related courses and is not good for arts and science-related courses. My college email id: [email protected]
The university does have a good campus, infrastructure, facilities and equipment. It is one that is still expanding so more facilities are to come. Our buildings, classrooms and campus is cleaned on a daily basis by the staff and hence is extremely well maintained. There is a canteen in or near every block and the good is hygienic. Being a hostel student I can tell you that the rules are strict but the space is clean.
I am studying Psychology, Economics and Sociology. No matter what the college, college is what you make of it. Christ is the same. They have supported me a lot by encouraging my interest in and pursuit of research. The curriculum is not up to daye. We do study things we won't require for a job.
I can't answer this question properly since I am currently still pursuing my degree. The rating I've given, an average comes from what I've heard placements to be like from my seniors and other teachers, not my own experience.
Fee Structure depends on many things like if you're from within Karnataka or outside of the state, the curriculum you completed in grade 12. I completed A-Levels and had to pay almost twice the amount that I would pay as a resident of Karnataka. However, this was only for the first year. It's too soon to figure out if I'm getting my money's worth as I've only completed my 1st year.
The campus is beautiful. It is extremely well maintained. There are canteens in or near every block. There are dustbins everywhere. The university has many theater and dance clubs however, clubs for niche interests like certain types of dances are lower but you could probably start your own with some assistance. Clubs practice out in the open which goes from exciting to slightly loud and a little annoying to something you get used to and can't imagine college without.
