i study in Christ university lavasa campus and its also has the required infrastructure . we do have projectors and and the well furnished classroom with centralized ACs also there are many opportunities for the students to grasp for!
i am pursuing BBA (Business analytics ) and i believe that this college provides me with adequate resources to study, there are going to be too many assignments which will definitely make you well versed with the subject.
it is the first batch of the lavasa campus (undergraduate), so we not aware of the placement cell but as far as the bangalore branches they placements are good when compared to normal colleges. but there are good placements for the MBAs in this campus.
being honest Christ is costly and expensive as the expenses of the food also would be done meal wise and there is fine system which definitely help us in keeping ourselves punctual and do our bio metrics on time :)
the campus is beautiful though we cant compare our campus to the main one we get to study in the environment and nature where there are no distractions for the students. well there are good faculty in this college with good experience.
one needs to cherish their days in their college life
Being at college is a completely new world. The best feeling of being in college is making new friends, which ultimately turn into a new family. The environment of being at Christ University Lavasa is like you are studying in heaven. The nature supports the academics, sports like basketball, football and table tennis bring out the best of the ability of the students. The infrastructure stands strong on the cement of both academics and co curriculum equally. We trained holistically in all fields.
I am pursuing B.Com financial analytics at Christ University Lavasa. The quality of teaching is amazing. The faculty is really supportive and is ready to help at any given point of time. Yes, our curriculum is updated and includes recent developments in the field. I am pursuing analytics since it opens a lot of opportunities for us in future plus we get an exposure in the fields of stock market and finance on a major side. Yes, it makes us job ready and after three years the placements work well
The quality of placements has been great at our college. The minimum percentage of students placed from our college were 80% of them. The highest package brought to the college was 5.6 lakhs annually in Facebook. The average salary being 30k/ month. Yes the placement process is easy in our college. Definitely the college was supportive at all times.
The course was for 1.5 lakhs annually. Yes, the money’s worth is justified. Getting a specialised course that too from such a renowned college is a big deal. Christ University Lavasa has always been supportive be it academics, sports, placements, etc everything. Being a part of such a great institution stands a pride in itself. Analytics courses and mostly not provided in India. This is the first college I heard about offering such wonderful courses.
The academics says it all, the placements stand out from the other colleges, the environment of being the best in every field thrives in every christite. The students can engage in activities such as sports, arts, music, dance, theatre, fests, moot courts and a lot more. The faculty and staff are the best one could’ve ever asked for. We can reach out to them anytime. The location is eye pleasing. The quiet and natural surrounding helps the students to induldge in studies. Yes its safe. Yes.
Just wanted to add its the best feeling to be in Christ University Lavasa. Everyone should at least once visit lavasa and enjoy the beauty and warmth of the place and the college itself.
Having studied here for 3 years, including my pre University, it has been a great place to be in. The facilities are top notch, great libraries, sports facilities and everything you'd want on a campus. There's free wifi enabled for each student's laptops . The food and the eateries are among the most hygienic places like any other place on campus.
The course I have is a triple majors and one thing assured is pressure. But it's always a fun learning experience. There's so many modes and ideas that are brought out to the students. Everything at chirst is about the corporate life so being job ready is something you never have to worry about.
I have personally experienced one placement through college which was at Disney World in Florida. The opportunities are insane and amazing, all you need to do is ask and you probably have an opportunity.
We often say college is for education and you pay for it, but Christ allows so much for the minimal you pay. Extra curriculars, fests, facilities, you get it all for the price you believe you pay for the course.
Never felt like I'm not at home. The buzz stays alive at 6 AM and even at 6PM. It's just amazing.
Amazing library, seminar rooms, sports facilities and so much more. There is a problem with regard to how they set up classrooms for everyone, Professional courses and others with highers fees have better rooms and Arts and Sciences are still stuck with old furniture.
Research in the UG level is abysmal, it is only this year that the Deanery of Humanities and Social Sciences came out with a research paper programme for triple major students. Teaching pedagogy is good, few professors are very good and well achieved in their fields while some are very traditional and not so cooperating.
I have no idea about placements but in general counselling for future is not good. There are no dedicated experts looking to better your transition from University. My perrs have said that the placement cell is not helpful and there is still a huge gap between what we study and what jobs come for us, specially in the social sciences.
Fines are exorbitant, so are trasncript and other document procurement fees. The overall fees however is very impressive compared to other private institutes.
While the space is safe and inclusive, management is highly authoritarian. Students are not given autonomy in many cases.
The college has great atmosphere with well furnished classrooms It has all necessay infrastructure and the libraries are worth the experience. There are a range of books available.Canteen and accessiblity of food is als quite easy
Teachers are always at the students service they are a great support system I am currently pursuing PSECO and we have a greay faculty for psychology. There is a systematic manner of teahing with a course plan being updated for every new semester.
Placements for PSEco is very basic as many prefer futher studies.Average salary offered depends on the kind of placements you get.Mostly for this combination you get research based placements.Hence the payment would be accordingly
Ita worth the money my course is 42000 per year. This college os defiently worth the money spent. However the fee amount will be different for interstate as well.Hence if you belong outside KARNATAKA chances are the fees will be higher
There are a whole host of opportunties in the capmus and different kinds of people you get interact with. The campus assures safety. There are comstant activities and cultural events that take place and iteredt everyone
It is one of the best experiences hostically.Thos space will help you enhance ypur personality and make you a more confident individual. There is a lot of layers of yourself that you will get to know once you have joined this college
The campus is wonderful. There is provision for sports, libraries and a huge green space. But the blocks where we sit are a bit of a problem. The new blocks are brilliant but mostly the Humanities students get the older blocks which have poor classrooms, benches, and washrooms.
Brilliant faculty. Just a lot of stress is but there is equally available opportunities from weekly assignments, seminars, research papers, workshops, etc. The curriculum is developed such that students with no background in the subjects can cope well too.
I'm not aware yet as I'm still in my second year, but among the humanities courses, the most offers come for English and media. Apart from this, the placements are not stable. It really depends on your individual capabilities.
As an Indian student, definitely. The fees is around 25-40 thousand which is a good deal, but as I am an international student, I need to pay almost 4 times that amount so it's really not worth it for this course.
Everything you could ever want from a campus, CHRIST has it. It's super green and clean. We have wonderful libraries that stay open till 9pm, sports facilities, gym, numerous canteens, and a very friendly staff. It's extremely disable friendly as well.
When we are meet the college guidelines, everything happens smoothly. But I've known so many people who get into trouble for breaking the smallest of the rules. If you can handle a strict environment with a tight schedule, then everything else fits in well.
The college is apt, teachers and staff are okay, so far the economics and the sociology department are the best. But the facilities like chairs and tables offered to us is outdated but nevertheless the scenic beauty and cleanliness makes up for it .
I am currently pursuing ba ( pyschology, sociology and economics) the quality of teaching is amazing especially the economics and the sociology teachers are just formidable. I do wish the curriculum was more open to the world than just Indian ideals.
The percentage of student placed is very low, so is the salary. But many students do internship, there are a lot of internship available and students are allowed to join any as they please . Students SS
It's cost around 80,000 , I do feel my money is worth
Christ is strict, but still it's enjoyable . It's packed with variety of students from different cultures, it's a melting pot of different religions and culture and everyone cares abt everyone. Students can engage in a lot of extra curricular activities and derive incentive from it .
No
The infrastructure of Christ university Bangalore is one of the best in this city. With courses in different disciplines, these university has a lot to offer to students. The Campus overall is huge and gives equal importance to co curricular and extra curricular activities, this can be seen in their sports and theatre facilities.
I'm a second year student in a triple major course , it's basically BA in psychology sociology and economics. This is a course which absolutely facinated me with the three subjects I love and believe will help me with my future endeavours. The quality of teaching is exceptional. The experience and knowledgeable staff the teaching learning process is wholesome. The curriculum on the other had is relevant to today's world and deals with a lot of current issues along with the base of each subject.
The placement opportunities are vast in Christ , however most students prefer to look jobs themselves because of the immense exposure they get. Many multinational companies and startups look for employees in Christ university. That's mostly because of the discipline and sincerity students are taught as part of non academic curriculum, through the means of dress code, timings and so on and so forth
The course I am doing , which is BA Economics, Psychology and Sociology cost around 60K however the fee varies depending on where you are from. If you're a local from Karnataka, the fee is considerably low, on the other hand if you're an NRI, it's relatively high . The resources provided by this institution, the exposure, the faculty, the infrastructure and the people here all make every penny worth it.
My college life is something I consider a blessing. I'm exposed to people from different places in the world. The diversity here is immense and is celebrated. O can't point out one best part cause everything here is amazing. As a student you can engage in a whole host of activities, you can join clubs like drama, music, dance, theater or societies like the MUN, debate, social work. Or you can be part of organisations like CAPS of CSR.
One thing a lot of student complain about is the dress code, because it's mandatory to wear formals and carry your ID at all times . Without these , you aren't even allowed to enter campus. So if you're someone who can't follow rules, then you might wanna reconsider you're decision. However, every single thing taught here makes you better and more prepared for the future.
The campus is love, but dresscode and grooming sucks . Recently there is one block which is under process it is known as the research block and will have all kinda of research available. Secondly there are 4 blocks with one central block and it is very big
Faculty is great but few aren't good. Like there are few good teachers who acts like gem and are available always to help you out and give you industry insights but therw also few who sucks in overall growth
Packages upto 18 lakhs. There are a lot of companies coming into Christ, few examples would be deloite goldman sachs. Goldman sachs is btw the second most famous in the town. Teachera help out to studenta
The kind of exposure is the best
Deducted 1 star for no wifi and gromming
Pretty good
The College infrastructure is great and big. There are many parks in the campus to hangout with friends. The laboratories are well eqipped. There are spacious classrooms which are highly ventilated. The hostel interior is nice and the living place is clean.
University is providing us with outcome based education. The curriculum is well updated to the present trends. It also includes all the developments in recent fields. The education here makes us job ready. the faculty are aways interactive with the students.
The university provides the best and amazing placement oppurtunities to the students. The placement record of past years is good in CSE and IT stream mainly. The highest package till now stood itself at 35 LPA. Top recruiters are IBM, TCS and many more.
