I hope you are concerned with Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management  (GITM) college. It was established in 1980.

To be eligible for admission:

1.  You should have PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) as your subject combination in your class 2th.

2. You should have passed class 12th with 60% aggregate marks (55% for CBSE and ICSE).

3. Even NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling ) students can also apply.

There is some GAT exam , in which you need to score good rank for getting better branches in the college. It is a GIM Admission Test for taking admission in various bachelor's degree in the field of MBA and BBA.

Hope you are doing great. Yes, The Gitam college is one of the best engineering college in Bangalore with decent package and high placements. Admissions to numerous UG, PG, and doctoral programmes at GITAM School of Technology Bengaluru for the class of 2022 are currently open. The closing date for applications or the subsequent admissions process has not yet been made public. The GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2022 Phase 3 application deadline is July 7, 2022. All applicants who are interested in merit-based scholarships may submit an online GAT application. On July 11 and 12, the GAT 2022 Phase 3 exam will be held.

GITAM School of Technology Bangalore has great placements in the year 2021. GITAM University Bangalore is good for engineering

The college is good in all departments  and environment is very peaceful of this college. Placement structure is good in this college.

Infrastructure is good with all latest equipment and building .

But GITAM vishakapatnam is better than Hyderabad and Bangalore. Vishakapatnam has good infrastructure and facilities.

Sorry to say, but unfortunately Gitam University doesn't accept ap eamcet for admission. This college have it's own Entrance exam that is GAT Entrance exam ( Gitam Entrance test) . And this Entrance exam done via online , students across the Indian give this exam each year.

There are three campuses that is  Vlzag, Hyderabad, and bengaluru on the basis of rank.

There is bsc Food technology course which is availbel in GITAM University, which is some way the similar course as Bsc Food science and Nutrition.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Food Technology (Hons.) is three years (6 Semester) full-time undergraduate program offered by GITAM Institute of Science, Visakhapatnam campus  at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam.

The Fees structure for this course is INR 1,80,000 for full course.

Admission Procedure will on the basis of :

Yes scoring nearly 5500 rank in GITAM is considered to be a very good rank. Looking at the previous year cutoff rank for GITAM you have good chances to get CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) course in the college. The previous year cutoff Rank for CSE in GITAM is near about 7000 .

However, although you have secured a good rank, Based on your rank, You can not get free seat any branch of the gitam . The rank should be below 2000 to get at least fee concession. You can also get the fee concession from gitam through Jee mains, AP/TS Eamcet andGAT.
