Candidates should complete the criteria that are prescribed by UGC in regard to this programme. The criteria to get Geotechnical Engineering - 1 certification is that the candidate should get themselves registered for the end term examination in the specified time period and should give an end term paper by visiting the allotted exam center. The candidate should obtain 75% in the end term paper and 25% as an aggregate of the best of 8 assessments out of a total of 10 in order to get eligible for the course.
