Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science is six years Part Time program offered by the School of Engineering Sciences & Technology (SEST) at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.

Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of four years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

  • MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science / IT with at least 60% marks (or equivalent COPA) in aggregate from any University/Institution recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UOC/AICTE.
  • NET-JRF / Individual Fellowship holders / Project Fellows will be given preference for admission in the Ph.D. programme.
  • Non-NET candidates shall also be eligible.
