24 MonthsMaster of Technology in Transportation Engineering is two years (4 Semester) full-time postgraduate engineering program offered at JECRC University, Jaipur.
Department of Civil Engineering offers M. Tech in Transportation Engineering program involves planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of transportation facilities. The facilities support air, highway, railroad, pipeline, water, and even space transportation. Transportation engineering includes sizing of transportation facilities, selection of materials and design of pavement and geometry of roadway.
Students are trained on the application of various software and programming skills for the solution of traffic flow and design of pavements problems for urban transportation issues and challenges. Both public and private sectors across the globe are investing significantly in road development, airport construction, high speed railways, metro rail, bridges, water ways and many such infrastructure projects necessitating the need for transportation engineers.
Eligibility Criteria
B. Tech. with minimum 55% aggregate marks in related discipline.
Candidate with MCA/ M.Sc. IT may also be considered for M.Tech. in Computer Science.
Note: Relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility criteria shall be given to the candidate who belongs to SC/ ST/ Rajasthan state OBC Non-creamy layer / women category.
