72 MonthsPh.D Materials and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
B.E. / B.Tech degree in Metallurgical/ Materials / Mechanical /Chemical/ Ceramic Engineering/ Manufacturing / Production Engineering with M.E. / M.Tech degree in Metallurgical/ Materials / Ceramic Engineering/ Thermal Engineering or equivalent degree in relevant engineering disciplines.
