About NIT Andhra Pradesh
Established in 2015, the National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT AP or NIT Andhra Pradesh) is the 31st institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. The campus size of NIT AP is 173 acres. NIT Andhra Pradesh has 17 clubs, 127 faculty and 120+ staff. There are 2310+ students with 250+ scholars at the National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh.
NIT AP offers 50 courses including B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, MS and Ph.D courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. NIT Andhra Pradesh accepts JEE Main scores for admission to B.Tech programmes. Candidates' GATE performance is considered for M.Tech admissions at the postgraduate level in NIT AP. Admission to M.S. courses at the National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh is based on candidates' performance in a university-conducted entrance exam. Then the candidates have to participate in the counselling sessions, During counselling registrations candidates must select NIT Andhra Pradesh as the preferred college.
National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh has signed more than 20 MOUs and has 7+ R &D sanctioned projects. Dear aspirant,
If you would go by the placements then definitely iiit kancheepuram has an upper hand in case non core engineering specially cse branch. On the other hand nit Andhra pradesh is a newer nit and the average package stays around 6L and the highest package went on to 13L per annum.
On the other hand, iiit kancheepuram has an average package of 9.5L and highest package in the cse branch went on to 20L per annum.
