72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by Pondicherry University, Puducherry. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Master’s degree in English with a minimum of 55% of marks. A national level entrance test – with 100 Multiple Choice Questions drawn from the postgraduate syllabi of Indian Universities, wherein a greater emphasis will be given to evaluating the research aptitude and awareness of International literary movements, theoretical perspectives and writing from across cultures.
