Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by Pondicherry University, Puducherry. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

The Post Graduate level. B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation and M.E/ M.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ other related specializations with a minimum of 55% of marks.

Admission Details

Admission to Ph.D. is based on the performance in the national level entrance examination conducted by the Pondicherry University at various places across the country and interview.
