Hello

Master of Public Health - 17+5 Seats (Gen); 02 Seats (Foreign/NRI).To apply to Panjab University’s PG courses, the candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University/College. The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. PUCET 2019 Counselling will be conducted as per the PUCET Merit List. The Provisional PUCET Merit List and commencement of ist round of PUCET counselling are expected to start on 5th July 2019.

Admission is based on the marks obtained in Panjab University Common Entrance Test (PUCET). Since you have got 110 rank and you want to be one of the few people to get those 22 seats it is not really easy but yes you do have chances of getting admission if the ones ahead of you choose any other stream/ college which is a possibiity. Personally i think you will get admission there. All the best.

Hello Amandeep,

As per the previous year cutoff trends, All candidates of the SC category were eligible to appear for counselling in UILS Chandigarh. The cutoff this year will be released in July and you can know your chances according to the cutoff. Since you need to pass your 10+2 with at least 45% to be eligible. The admission, though, will be done solely on your merit in 10+2 and the entrance examination.

All the Best!

Hello Karan

Considering your rank in entrance exam is 839 and that your boards exam score is 91% you seem to have a less chances for admission in UILS, Chandigarh. Chances in regional centres are more.
There are 120 seats each for BALLB and BCOM LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.
And with your rank and marks in boards your chances seem less for Chandigarh. Wait for the final ranks after the combined scores to be out for a better estimate.
Also, yes Migration from Regional centres to UILS is possible. But only in the 3rd semester. The toppers of the regional centres are migrated based on merit in the semester exams. It also depends on number of vacancies in UILS. But usually there is migration based on this every year.
Best of luck

Hello dear,

To take admission in pu for bsc hons. chemistry you have to stand in the pucet exam and the merits of this exam take all the seats. Apart from this, you can try for the management quota. Your marks a quite good and I hope you make it. For more detail, you can go on the official website of the pu. Hope you get your all questions answers there.

All the best.

Hi,

For admission in Punjab University in B.Sc hons. courses, you need to have the following percentage: (i) 25% in the qualifying exam and, (ii) 75% in the entrance exam. This is as per the 2019 admission pattern. In previous year cut off we saw the required percentage was 10%-15% of the total marks.  You need to calculate according to the new pattern and check.

Hope this helps, good luck!
