Course Overview

edX aims to increase access to quality education for learners everywhere, enhance campus and online teaching, and advance learning by means of research. Primer on RF Design course is being offered by edX and Purdue University.

Primer on RF Design course will teach the participants the essentials of RF design. It is built as a base course for students or engineers who do not have an in-depth background in high-frequency electronics. Participants will learn about basic RF design principles and tools. They will have an understanding of the vital RF concepts and how they are connected to the design of practical RF blocks.

This course should benefit engineers who need an understanding of the "RF language" and working knowledge of the important RF concepts. Primer on RF Design course is an important prerequisite to the two other courses of this series: RF Design: Passive and Active Components and RF System Design. It is expected that the learners first complete the Primer on RF Design course they enrol for the RF Design: Passive and Active Components and RF System Design courses.
