24 MonthsThe 2-years of M. Sc. Computer Science programme is designed with the aim to develop core competence in Computer Science and prepare the students to carry out development work, as well as take up challenges in research in two years without repeating the courses that are already covered at B. Sc level.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates having passed the following degrees from Sambalpur University or any equivalent examination from a UGC recognized University:
- Either B.Sc. Honours in Computer Sc, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Statistics or Information Technology
- OR B.Sc. (PASS) with having one of the following subject as core- Computer Sc, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Statistics or Information Technology and having Mathematics at +2 level and aggregate 45%
- OR BCA with 45% and having Mathematics at +2 level
- OR B.E./B.Tech in allied discipline with 45% in aggregate
Admission Details
The selection will be done on the basis of career and written with 30% and 70% weightage, respectively. Absence of a candidate in written examination will disqualify him/her for admission.
