Beant College of Engineering and Technology Gurdaspur is a government-recognised college that was established in the year 1995. The Beant College of Engineering and Technology Gurdaspur is spread over 70 acres of land. The BCET Gurdaspur was inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Late Sardar Beant Singh Ji, on August 20, 1995.

Beant College of Engineering and Technology Gurdaspur offers courses at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Two girls per family. The family income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. Students must be admitted in first-year diploma/undergraduate degree level programmes/courses in AICTE approved institutions.
Scheme of 'Merit cum Means Based Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities	An amount of Rs. 20,000 per annum.	The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured more than 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination. The annual income of the family from all sources should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakhs per annum.
Scheme of 'Post Matric Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities	The admission and tuition fee for UG & PG level is Rs. 3,000 per annum.	The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured more than 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination. The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. The students must be admitted for in the first year diploma/undergraduate degree level programmes/courses in AICTE approved institutions.
