By providing various scholarships to deserving and meritorious students having an exceptional academic record SNDT Women's University strives to support students in their academic journey. Some of these SNDT Women's University scholarships are offered for UG, and PG degrees.
Eligible students who meet the scholarship criteria can apply for the SNDT Women's University Scholarships. Interested candidates can directly apply for these scholarships at SNDT Women's University and receive the scholarship amount upon fulfilling the eligibility requirements. However, the scholarships shall be applicable only for the current academic year and the student would have to reapply for the scholarship in the next year.

This Scholarship is for 1 regular student in 3rd Year of the UG Programme and 1 regular student from 1st year of the PG Programme, conditioning his family income does not exceed Rs. 20,000/- pm, UG candidate should be among the top 10 in the 2nd year, PG candidate should be among first 10 in last cleared exam, and the applicant should not be beneficiary of any other scholarship.
The scholarship amount for UG students will be Rs. 30000/- per year, divided in two instalments, Rs. 15000/- in Semester -I and Rs. 15000/- in semester - II and for PG student will be Rs. 60000/- per year, divided in two instalments, Rs. 30000/- in Semester -I and Rs. 30000/- in semester -II only if the 6 monthly progress report of the applicant, duly signed by the principal of the constituent college of SNDT Women’s University is found satisfactory.
This Scholarship is for 1 regular student of the PG Programme, conditioning his family income does not exceed Rs. 20,000/- pm, UG candidate should be among top 10 in 2nd year, and the applicant should not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship.
The scholarship amount for the student awardee will be Rs. 25000/- per year and will be divided in two instalments, Rs. 10000/- in Semester 1 and Rs. 15000/- in semester II only if the 6 monthly progress report of the student who has been awarded the scholarship, duly signed by the Head of the concerned University Department of SNDT Women’s University is found satisfactory.
3 research fellowships of Rs 50000/- each or two of 75000/- each for a period of 6 months are offered under this scholarship, conditioning the research should aim at retrieving and /or generating archival material in areas such as Lives of 20th-century women who have contributed to Gender Justice, Health, Liberal Arts, Women’s Education, Women’s Empowerment, Women’s Entrepreneurship, Women’s contribution in any other field.
SNDT Women’s University admissions vary from being merit-based to entrance-based from course to course. SNDT University admissions for B.A./B.Sc./B.Com courses are merit-based. For admission to BBA LLB courses, students need to clear MHT CET Law. Admissions to M.A. and M.Sc. courses at SNDT are merit-based.
