Hello dear!!!

With the rank that you have told it is nearly impossible for to get a seat in any medical college for a normal category guy.

But you have said that you have a category of the BC-B so I think that you have a more probability of getting a seat in the medical so my suggestion is that apply for the counselling and wait till rthe last round.

Thank you.

Dear Snehitha, previous year score of 450 fetched govt college in SVU Region under BC category.
As per the last year cut off the colleges which you can get -
  • Government Medical College, Anantapur-427
  • Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa - 446
  • ACSR Government Medical College, Nellore-436
If the same trend continues there are very high chances of getting a GOVT seat.
You can also check the below link for further information regarding the seat distribution in AP.

All the best :)
Hope this helps :)

Dear aspirant, if you want to choose between these 2 colleges then just go for DTU.

DTU is far more better than SVU in almost every aspect.

DTU comes under the top most engineering colleges after the IITs in India. You can also verify this by the placement it offers. The highest package during recent years from DTU is 1.27 crore offered by Tech Giant GOOGLE whereas in SVU it is 9 LPA.

Talking about the average package SVU  has average package of 3.5 lpa whereas DTU has average package of around 8 lakhs (including all the branches). If we look at only CSE than its more than 15 LPA.

There are many complaints in SVU regarding the opportunities given to students. Among all the students only few are given preference and this too continues even in the placement period. Generally most of the students in SVU prepares for GATE to get to the IITs or IIMs. But in DTU if you have skills then you can survive the heat. Among the crowd its difficult to get to the top, but this thing makes you even more competitive and in this way you just polish your skills.

So if you are choosing between SVU and DTU choose wisely.

All the best :)

Feel free to ask for any query.

Hello Rohit

Both the colleges you are interested in are good colleges in their own way. Both have their pros and cons. They offered a range of branches for engineering too.

Delhi technological university was the first engineering college in Delhi and was approved by the government. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is one of the top engineering colleges in the country with unmatched placement record. It is ranked one in one of the placement category by Outlook India. Hi Venkat Krishna, congratulations for clearing the exam! The cut off for different universities is different for various categories. You can easily get into some good college with your rank, but you will have to compromise with the branch. Or you can get the branch of your choice, bit will have to compromise with the college.  The detailed list of all this information:

All the best!

Hello Ahmed,
Firstly congrats! for your scores, you have done really well. As per the specified scores of your IPE and EAMCET, your rank would probably around 25k. With this rank, your chances to get a seat in CSE would be a bit less. It would be easier to get a seat in other branches, with that rank.

I am adding our college predictor link, just go through it to have an idea about various colleges, which can fetch you a seat...

Hi Ganesh,

The fees for SVU for MBA is around 20000 INR per year which brings the fees (including other charges like security, registration etc.) to approximately 41000-43000 INR for 2 years. For JNTUK- fees for MBA under government quota is approximately 30000 INR per annum, while for seats under management quota, it is approximately 74000 INR per annum.

All the best.

Hii,

The final Admission to the College depends on the EAMCET Rank and Category. If You get a Rank below 5000 it is easy for you to get the Admission there. But with this Marks you won't get admission in Sri Venkateshwara University. you can expect a rank in between 15k - 20k.

Mention your Category for Better Information.

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati had cutoff marks 458 previous year.

You can get Government Medical College, Anantapur.

Santhiram Medical College and General Hospital, Nandyal in the private institutions.

Good luck
