72 MonthsDoctor Of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in English shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned Offered by SRM University, Sikkim.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum academic qualification required for admission is that the candidate should possess a Post Graduate Degree recognized by the respective statutory regulatory bodies for pursuing research.
The candidate should possess at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in the PG level.
Candidates (Faculty members) should have at least 2 years of service experience at SRM University Sikkim.
Admission Details
Admission is Done Through the following categories of applicants are exempted from appearing on the written entrance test but will have to appear at an interview - Applicants who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE. The eligible candidates need to appear for a written entrance test, followed by an oral interview, the following day.
