M.Sc Bioinformatics is full time two year Post graduate degree course offered at Madras Veterinary College and offered by Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai.


Eligibility Criteria

Any graduate with a minimum qualification of BVSc, BVSc & AH, MBBS, BDS, or BSc degree in any branch of Agriculture/Life Sciences/Genetics/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Microbiology/ Pharmacology or equivalent of Indian or Foreign University with an OGPA of 2.75/4.00 in trimester system or 6.50/10.00 in semester system or 50% in conventional system shall be eligible to apply. A minimum pass is sufficient for SC / ST candidates.

Admission Details

The selection of candidates for admission to MSc (Bioinformatics) will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination and the qualifying examination marks
