Acharya College of Education, Bangalore is an affiliated college for education established in 2004 with the primary purpose of building education professionals of tomorrow. This institution is established at Soladevanahalli in Bangalore and comprises a campus of 5.3 acres of land; it affords a quiet and appropriate background required for the institute. The college stands recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and is currently nursery-home to 139 students and 14 sundry faculty members who have years of experience under their belt. Acharya College of Education offers two specialised programmes in education: B. Ed in education and Diploma in Elementary Education is courses that aims at producing competent and passionate teachers.

Acharya College of Education boasts of availability of amenities that would complement the experience of learners for the better part of their time. The campus has Boys and Girls hostels that complement the accommodation needs of out-station students. Indeed, a well-resourced library acts as a knowledge centre and the IT facilities inform the students with information related to modern methods of education. Admissions for D.El.Ed, as in B.Ed, are done on merit keeping in view the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. The procedure of admission follows the rules prescribed by the concerned authorities in the field of education.
